I really do not see the point of going to study abroad in Japan. Unless you are very interested in Japanese as a language or want to have a Japan girl for wife, going to study in Japan is not as easy or as rewarding compared to study in the US. It is relatively easy to get an I-20 from a community college in any state of the USA. Tuition is relatively low and academic requirement is also low. Enrolling in the ESL (English as second language) for the first year is no problem for most student. Part time work permit is not that difficult to get. As we all know mastering English is much more marketable than mastering Japanese in global international business.
